Gives first grant of $25,000 to Colonel of Hope, Inc.
Founder and President, Ken Rathje, receives donation from Corey Clive, fellow veteran. “This money will enable our company to start helping Vets”, says Ken from his office in New York. He commented on the fact that Vets need help transitioning to civilian life, and combining weekend training and certifications, as well as an ongoing life coach program, will help many.

Colonel of Hope, Inc. announces location for first veteran weekend.
Fellow Board Director and business owner, Kevin Peach, offered his offices in Washington, D.C. to host the first weekend. “Not a stranger to disaster response and recovery work, Kevin was raised, and has worked for years, with a selfless service approach to helping others. His keen sense of how to start a new organization has helped the Colonel of Hope get the company moving and this is just another example of this help”, Ken Rathje, Founder and President mentions.

Colonel of Hope, Inc. adopts it’s new logo Fellow Board Director and combat hardened former Department of Navy Retiree Buster Tate found a unique way to portray what Colonel of Hope, Inc. is all about. “Providing hope and future is key for veterans.” His own transition from the Navy into a civilian role as COO of Foster Web Marketing in Fairfax, VA has given him much to discuss with veterans.
